How to use our bath and body oils
Body oils are valuable allies to nourish, moisturize and revitalize the skin, whether during the bath or in a daily body care routine. Their use is simple, but their effectiveness depends on a few essential gestures to maximize their benefits.
For bathing, body oil can transform a simple moment of relaxation into a true spa experience. Simply add a few drops of the oil to your warm bath water. The oil will diffuse into the water, creating a thin film on the surface. As you immerse yourself, this film of oil will envelop your skin, deeply nourishing it and leaving it soft and satiny. The warm water opens the pores, allowing the oil to better penetrate and promote hydration. It is important to mix the oil well with the water to prevent it from simply floating on the surface. After bathing, it is recommended to gently pat the skin dry with a towel, leaving a thin layer of oil on the body that will continue to work.
For body care, the oil can be applied directly to the skin after a shower or bath, when the skin is still slightly damp. This technique allows the oil to distribute better and penetrate more effectively. Take a small amount of oil in the palm of your hands, warm it slightly by rubbing your hands together, then apply it in circular motions all over your body. Pay particular attention to the driest areas, such as the elbows, knees, and heels. For optimal absorption, gently massage the skin until the oil is well absorbed.
Used regularly, body oil strengthens the skin barrier, prevents dehydration and leaves skin soft, supple and radiant. Whether for a relaxing bath or a daily skincare routine, body oil is a great way to give your skin a nourishing and soothing treatment.
