What is Selv Rituel?

Selv Rituel is a natural and vegan beauty brand based in Montreal, which has been making bath and body care rituals in Quebec since 2020: bubble baths, bath salts, botanical oils, candles, and immersive kits.

Are your products vegan?

Yes. All Selv Rituel products are vegan. Selv Rituel is Leaping Bunny certified, the international standard for cruelty-free products: our products are not tested on animals, and our suppliers are also committed to respecting this standard.

Where are the products made?

Handmade in Quebec. Our workshops are located at 4710 Saint-Ambroise Street, Montreal.

Are the ingredients listed on each product?

Yes. The complete list of ingredients (INCI nomenclature) is displayed on each product page, in the "The Formula" section.

What is the difference between a bubble bath and a bath salt?

Bubble bath creates a scented foam on the water surface from the first few minutes. Bath salt mainly acts on the skin: it gently exfoliates while transporting essential oils and minerals upon contact with the body.

What is a Selv Rituel immersive kit?

It's a ready-to-use bath ritual, handcrafted in Montreal, that brings together in one pouch elements like flowers, fruits, a botanical oil, and a candle, all designed for the same olfactory ambiance.

How to use a Selv Rituel botanical oil?

It can be used directly in bath water or applied to damp skin after bathing or showering to seal in moisture. Selv Rituel oils are infused with plants, flowers, and fruits for over a month.

What is Selv Rituel's Nordic Ritual?

It is one of Selv Rituel's signature collections, inspired by a minimalist Nordic aesthetic: notes of lavender and eucalyptus, available as a bubble bath, candle, pillow mist, and botanical oil.

What are the delivery times?

Orders are shipped within 3 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), unless otherwise indicated on the product page. Shipping is primarily done by Canada Post, which typically delivers within an additional 5 business days for standard shipping. A tracking email is sent as soon as the order leaves our workshops. International orders may incur customs fees and variable delays.

Can I return or exchange a product?

As our products are handmade and intended for body care, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on opened or used products when the request is related to a personal preference (smell, texture, experience). If your order arrives damaged or if a product has a manufacturing defect, please contact us at info@selv.ca with a photo, within 48 hours of receipt.

Do you offer a subscription program?

No, not at the moment. Selv Rituel currently does not offer any subscription or recurring purchase program.
