Personal development
Life goes by and we often do the same things. Day after day, week after week, month after month and finally year after year. Without asking ourselves if the life we lead and the choices we make still suit us? If we are good? If we accomplish what we want to accomplish? If we are the person we want to be?
We sometimes live on autopilot while a multitude of projects inhabit us and inspire us. Whether it's a change of look, a trip (or trips), a new hobby, a new job. So many ideas and projects cross our minds day after day, why not put them on paper, expose them, place them in view. In our sight. So that day after day we can see them. Like a reminder of what we want to accomplish, of these projects, these dreams, these small and large objectives that reside within us.
Some people make lists. Others write in diaries, in a journal. We suggest you create a vision board. A table of visions, inspirations, aspirations! Your aspirations, your dreams, your desires. A painting that will be in your image and the image of the life you desire.
To begin, we advise you to take the time to ask yourself certain questions: What would I like to do that I haven’t yet done? What interests me, thrills me, enchants me? What places would I like to see, visit? How do I want to live my life? What are the things that make me feel good? How can I continue to develop personally? To evolve? To discover new facets of myself? What types of relationships do I want to have?
Once you have answered these questions, it may take some time as the answers may be slow in coming. Give them time to rise, to appear in your mind, to tumble. No hurry. Once you have your answers, find images, quotes, drawings, words, photos, anything that represents them and stick them side by side on a wall, a board, a large piece of cardboard, the medium of your choice. And make sure you put it somewhere you can see it every day. A place that will allow these images and words to inspire you and guide you in your daily choices. Perhaps you will want to add new ideas and new projects from time to time. This table is not a finality, but rather a blank page that you can modify over time.
You can create your vision board whenever you want. Birthdays can be a good time to create it, to stop, to see where you are. To look back on the year that has just passed and what you would like to accomplish in the future. The new year, the changing seasons, the accomplishment of one of your goals are all favorable moments for renewing your vision board. You will find the one that suits you to look back on the last few months, on your life and how you live it in order to see if you are following the path that will lead you to the person you want to be, to the experiences you want to live.
The important thing is to keep in mind that your table is not fixed, that it can evolve over time and that it will help you follow the course of your life and the actions you take there. It will allow you to connect to what you desire and what is inside you. To know yourself better and live the life you want.
Good thinking and everything is possible, think big!
